Exercise is a subset of physical activity that is planned, structured, and repetitive and has as a final or an intermediate objective the improvement or maintenance of physical fitness.

 

Regular exercise is one of the best things you can do for your health. It has many benefits, including improving your overall health and fitness, and reducing your risk for many chronic diseases. There are many different types of exercise; it is important that you pick the right types for you.

 

Fitting regular exercise into your daily schedule may seem difficult at first. But you can start slowly, and break your exercise time into chunks. Even doing ten minutes at a time is fine. You can work your way up to doing the recommended amount of exercise. How much exercise you need depends on your age and health.

 

The powerful combination of cardiovascular exercise and strength training can help a person build muscle strength and improve their heart, lung, and circulatory health.

 

There are however general exercises that are good for the general body:

 

Swimming: is an excellent way to work your entire body and cardiovascular system.

 

Pushups :work multiple muscle groups, strengthening the arms, chest, and shoulders.

 

Bodyweight squats: can increase lower body and core strength as they work the abs, buttocks, hips, thighs, calves, and shins.

 

Lunges: work the thighs, buttocks, hips, and abdominal muscles.

 

Side planks: help build core strength, which can help reduce lower back pain. Side planks work the buttocks, hips, and abdominal muscles.

 

Planks:  it strengthen the back and abdominal muscles and help build core strength.

Running: is a form of aerobic exercise, and it can help improve cardiovascular fitness and bone strength. Jogging is a less intense form of running and may be best for beginners.

 

The glute bridge: is good for the muscles in the back of the body, known as the posterior chain.

All these forms of exercises are just part of many you can get involved in.
