Kaduna State governor, Uba Sani has noted with dismay that the fight against banditry and terrorism has suffered setbacks in recent weeks in the state.

The governor stated this as he laid the wreath in honour of the country’s fallen heroes during the 2024 Armed Forces Remembrance Day in the state.

Governor Sani who was apparently reacting to the fresh cases of banditry attacks reported in the past few weeks in Kaduna and parts of Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory, however, expressed confidence that the Nigerian Armed Forces will live up to expectations by ending banditry and terrorism in the country.

According to him, the Northern Governors will cooperate with the armed forces in their capacities as governors and the federal government to ensure that this war against banditry and terrorism is brought to a successful end.
