The Kano State Government has imposed dawn-to-dusk curfew as INEC declared NNPP governorship candidate Abba Kabir Yusuf winner of the just concluded gubernatorial election in the state.
With a view to avoid a breakdown of law and order, following tensions generated from the collation of results of the governorship and state Assembly elections.
According to Garba Muhammad the commissioner for information and internal affairs He said the decision was to prevent hoodlums from causing chaos in the already made tense situation in the state
The commissioner has however called on people in the state to remain indoors as security agents would not spare anyone or group bent on causing trouble.
