I Don’t Want To Die Because Of A Woman– Frank Edoho
Popular television host Frank Edoho has opened up about his deepest personal fear, saying he does not want to die because of emotional pain caused by a woman.
Edoho made the revelation during an interview on the YouTube channel Outside The Box, released on Saturday, where he reflected on male vulnerability, silent struggles and how he hopes to be remembered.
“I don’t want to go to the gates of heaven and they ask me what killed me and they say it’s a woman. Whether that woman be my daughter, my wife, my mother, I don’t want that. I don’t want that to be my way out of this portal,” he said.
The broadcaster, best known for hosting the Nigerian edition of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, said he hopes to leave the world having made a positive impact on others.
“I want to die with a smile on my face saying that all the people I met, I tried to put a smile on their face, and to have the only regret that I wish I did more good. Not that I wish I had more time, that’s all,” he said.
Frank Edoho also spoke about the pressures men face and the tendency to endure emotional pain without seeking help.
“The task of manhood is very daunting. Men don’t speak. Men go through a lot. Whatever a man is going through, he’s just silent. He doesn’t say it. He holds it to himself. And some of them go to the grave with it. Too many, actually,” he said.
He disclosed that he went through a difficult personal period for two years without telling anyone.
According to Edoho, his years in broadcasting taught him how to hide personal struggles while maintaining a calm appearance on air.
“For two years, there was a couple of years back I was in a very dark hole but nobody knew. I couldn’t call you guys. I just said, you know what, this is a journey I have to make on myself to reorganise myself. And I’m happy I did. But at the time, I thought that the walls were caving in,” he said.
“Broadcasting taught me how to have a poker face. No matter what you’re going through, when it’s time to go on air, ‘Hi, good evening, welcome, I hope you’re having a nice time’, the only reason you’re not there is that you’re dead. If you’re alive, it doesn’t matter what you’re going through, you have to be there doing just that.

Seyi Tinubu Reacts To Cubana’s Reps Ticket Loss
Seyi Tinubu has urged Pascal Okechukwu to remain hopeful after the celebrity businessman failed to secure the All Progressives Congress (APC) ticket for the Orsu/Orlu/Oru East Federal Constituency seat in Imo State.
The APC primary election was held on Saturday as part of preparations for the 2027 general election.
Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest and the Imo State coordinator of the City Boy Movement, had contested for the House of Representatives ticket under the ruling party after purchasing the expression of interest and nomination forms.
He had said his ambition was driven by youth empowerment, grassroots development and the need to encourage greater political participation among young people in the constituency.
However, he did not secure the party’s ticket.
Reacting on Sunday via his Instagram story, Tinubu, the Grand Patron of the City Boy Movement, encouraged him to stay positive, noting that setbacks could open doors to bigger victories.
“Bro, sometimes by losing a battle, you find a new way to win the war. Keep your head up @cubana_chiefpriest. We know what you are capable of achieving,” he wrote.

Chelsea Appoint Xabi Alonso As New Manager On Four-Year Deal
Xabi Alonso has been appointed as Chelsea’s new manager, the club have announced.
Alonso, 44, has agreed a four-year contract with the west London club and will begin work after the end of the season on July 1.
The Spanish coach had been out of work since being fired by Real Madrid in January after just half a season in charge at the Bernabéu.
“Chelsea is one of the biggest clubs in world football and it fills me with immense pride to become manager of this great club,” Alonso said in a statement.
“From my conversations with the ownership group and sporting leadership, it is clear we share the same ambition. We want to build a team capable of competing consistently at the highest level and fighting for trophies.”
Chelsea, who lost 1-0 to Manchester City in the FA Cup final on Saturday, have endured a turbulent campaign following the exits of Enzo Maresca and Liam Rosenior, who was fired just 106 days into his six-and-a-half year deal last month.
Despite having also identified Bournemouth’s Andoni Iraola and Fulham’s Marco Silva as potential replacements for Rosenior, whose role has been filled by interim coach Calum McFarlane in recent weeks, the Chelsea hierarchy has been in talks with Alonso in recent days after making the former Bayer Leverkusen coach their No. 1 target.
“There is great talent in the squad and huge potential at this football club and it will be my great honour to lead it,” Alonso added.
“Now the focus is on hard work, building the right culture and winning trophies.”
Alonso announced himself as one of Europe’s most promising young managers after he guided Leverkusen to the Bundesliga title unbeaten in 2024.
