Insecurity: Miyetti Allah launches vigilante group in Nasarawa

The Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore, a Fulani Socio Cultural Association, has, announced plans to launch a vigilante group to complement the activities of the conventional security apparatus in Nasarawa State, towards fighting the growing spate of insecurity in the state.

 

 

National President of the association, Abdullahi Bodejo, who announced the planned launch in a statement, through the association’s Publicity Secretary, Suleiman Tasiu, said the outfit would be launched today.

 

 

It would be recalled that last year the group announced its commitment to supporting the Federal Government in its fight against the escalating security challenges across the country.

 

 

According to Bodejo, the quasi-security outfit would fish out criminals among cattle herders in the community, reduce increase allegation against those who are treated unjustly for crimes not because of the infiltration of the bad eggs among its members.
