The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has announced that it will go after some outgoing public officials after May 29.
The EFCC Chairman, Abdulrasheed Bawa, disclosed this to journalists today.
Bawa who did not give names or the number of public officials that would be brought under the law disclosed that at least two ministries were currently under the radar of the commission for fraudulent activities that bordered on procurement processes.
Reacting to calls for his sacking by some civil society organisations.
Bawa said, It is on record that he was the first sitting EFCC chairman to go to court and testify, several times.
He added that there are now have some group of people that were paid, that he know the people that are paying them, to come up with all sorts of gang-ups.
