Lagos Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has mourned the passing of Pastor Taiwo Odukoya.

In a tweet, he described the death of the founding Pastor of The Fountain of Life Church as a reminder of life’s fleeting nature.

 

Sanwo-Olu eulogised the deceased cleric even as he also commiserated with his children and the entire body of Christ.

 

He tweet: “It was with utter shock and sadness that I received the news of the passing of Pastor Daniel Taiwo Odukoya, the founding Pastor of The Fountain of Life Church.

 

“Pastor Odukoya was a dear brother and friend. He was a dedicated man of God whose faith and belief in God never shook nor waned despite experiencing the obstacles of life.

 

“He was steadfast in worship and diligent in service. He was a great preacher and teacher, whose life and ministry has continued to impact the lives of people within the Christian body and outside.

 

“Pastor Odukoya’s demise is indeed a heart wrenching reminder that this life is indeed fleeting.

 

“My sincere condolences to his dear children, Tolu Ijogun, Jimmy Odukoya, Tobi Enuha, Jomiloju and Timilehin Odukoya and the entire Odukoya family.

 

“I also commiserate with Pastor Odukoya’s friends, associates, the congregation of The Fountain of Life Church, the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) and the entire Christian body.

 

According  to the  church,  67 year old Odukoya, died  On Monday  in the United States of America (USA)
